AEM Integration Paths Overview

Choosing between existing secure hardware, AEM module, and EPU/SoC integration.

AEM integrates at the level that fits your machine and programme. There are three paths, plus the case where no AEM integration is needed.

Existing Secure Hardware Integration

If your machine already carries suitable secure hardware — TPM, TEE, Secure Element, PUF, HSM or a security-capable SoC — AEM integrates with it to anchor identity and evidence.

AEM Module / Box

An independent, tamper-resistant module added to an existing machine. Ideal for retrofits, independent black-box requirements, immutable controllers, or a rapid insurance pilot.

EPU / SoC Integration

Native chip-level evidence architecture for a new OEM programme or high-volume deployment, building accountability in from the start.

When No AEM Is Needed

If your evidence is already strong across the AEM-addressable dimensions, focus on operational and process improvements and independent verification instead.

Cloud companion services are not AEM Inside. AEM is the embedded layer; the SDK and cloud services sit around it.
